Workspace Caddy: Three Ways
So we're in this "work from wherever you can" thing for the long haul, aren't we? My situation calls for work from home through the end of year, and with school starting back mostly remote, I thought, "why not share some ways to make your at home work station more .... fun?"
I kicked off "work from home season*" with our portable record player and a selection of my favorite vinyl from our collection to listen to between conference calls. But with the boys home from school for the foreseeable future, I'm now posted up in our play room, refereeing two littles.
If music isn't your thing, and you want to make sure you are set up for success in the self care department, might I suggest a self care station? Complete with your favorite candle, chapstick, lotion, magazine, nail polish and anything else that brings you joy that you might need to keep you sane throughout your day.
And for the final option to elevate your work station, what about a snack/beverage station? Chocolate, Pretzel Goldfish, Rap Snacks and La Croix filled my station, but you do you!
Whatever you need to help get you through the day, those are the things to keep close. Whether it's a photo of a loved one, a gallon of water, a scent that reminds you of better times, these are the simple things we can control.
AND, in no time at all, Back Home will be live: an online curated shop of sustainably and ethically-produced body, home and self care items brought to you by the ladies behind The Back Rack! I'm so excited for new candles and fragrance roller balls, but full inventory to be shared soon!
*I.e. the 2.5 weeks we sent our boys to school after school opened back up with limited capacity before one of their teachers tested positive for CV19, and we quarantined and were too afraid to send them back.
